Apex boys volleyball club
Our Mission
It is our mission to grow the sport of boys volleyball in Middle TN specifically for our local TN athletes. At Apex, we not only develop our athletes skills in volleyball, but we also strive to develop them into leaders on and off the court. We exist to compete: with other clubs, our teammates and most importantly ourselves. Lastly, we hope to help our athletes step into the next level of their sports careers whether that be playing collegiately, professionally, coaching or playing as an adult recreationally.
Our Season
Our Fall season runs from August until end of February. Practices are held on Saturday mornings 9-12pm and once during the week in the evening between 6pm and 8pm.
Our club is able to compete in the greater Nashville area against local school teams and other boys club teams. We occasionally travel to away tournaments in order for our teams to find more competition.

ALTHOUGH I'VE PLAYED EVERY POSITION, MY PRIMARY ROLE WAS AS AN OUTSIDE HITTER.
WITH OVER 25 YEARS OF PLAYING EXPERIENCE AND 20 YEARS OF COACHING, I HAVE HELPED GUIDE STUDENT-ATHLETES AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, AND COLLEGIATE LEVELS.

Hello, my name is Joseph (Joey) Curry from Long Island NY. I am currentlythe assistant volleyball coach at Columbia Central high school. I played volleyball in bothmiddle and high school as well as 4 years of club and in college. I am most excited to help grow the boys/mens game in Tennessee and show that volleyball is not just a girls sport!

Other coaching experience comes from helping around the Nashville area with camps and different clubs. I currently am a member of the VLA team known as the NashVillians and I play in different tournaments in the immediate area and surrounding states. Volleyball has provided me so many great opportunities and some of my best friends. I am most looking forward to spreading my love for the sport of volleyball and helping players that are wanting to grow and get better in a sport
